One feature of the Teatre Bartrina's programme is the special attention it pays to young children, offering them a varied, attractive programme to stimulate their interest.

During the school year different productions are staged for children accompanied by their teachers, school sessions featuring theatre, dance and music. In addition, the consortium organises two different cycles which alternate on the programme over the year.

One of these is the series of Concerts Familiars (Family Concerts) run in co-operation with the Fundació “la Caixa” the IMAC (municipal institute for cultural action) and the Teatre Bartrina consortium, and the other is the El Bartrina dels Petits (The Children's Bartrina) cycle, featuring shows of all kinds.
